Job summary

Arup is seeking a Pursuits & Bids Senior Specialist to lead bids of moderate complexity and support larger pursuits across Southeast Asia. You will translate strategies into clear bid plans, coordinate schedules, ensure compliance, and guide proposal development with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years in pursuits and bids within the AEC sector, strong writing and QA skills, and the ability to coach colleagues while delivering high-quality, client-focused submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years in pursuits and bids within AEC or similar sectors.
• Experience managing bids of moderate complexity and supporting higher-stakes pursuits.
• Familiarity with pre-positioning and bidding lifecycle including bid delivery.
• Strong proposal planning, writing, editing and quality review skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape pursuit strategies and translate them into structured bid plans and client-focused proposals.
• Manage bid process stages: schedules, compliance, development, reviews, submission delivery.
• Coordinate structured proposal reviews and manage feedback to ensure timely actions.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to maintain momentum and quality.
• Support bids across Southeast Asia and mentor junior team members.
