Job summary

Senior Bids and Proposals Specialist at AECOM in the Philippines (Hybrid) leads region-specific pursuits and supports bid readiness. The role involves coordinating with capture managers, drafting content, and guiding junior staff through proposal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 6-8 years of Bid experience, preferably within a professional services firm in a similar industry.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
• Skills in Adobe Creative especially InDesign would be highly regarded.
• Understanding of graphic design and an eye for communicating content visually – can effectively use our brand guidelines and work with our corporate identity.

Responsibilities

• Lead / Assist on region-specific must-win pursuits and manage complex compliance requirements.
• Contribute to and lead Go/No Go and readiness to bid analysis in partnership with capture/bid managers; update CRM data for accuracy.
• Contribute to pre-RFP proposal planning, Four Rules win strategy, and ensure client issues and discriminators in deliverables.
• Build positive relationships and support team formations on pursuits.
• Write and edit key draft proposal content such as executive summaries or cover letters.
• Develop content plan for proposal or provide templates to writing team with specific requirements/compliance or messaging guidance.
• Facilitate content for milestone and color reviews, manage recovery and implementation of comments and finalization of documents.
• Collaborate with graphic designers on design and layout; assist with final production in Word, InDesign, or branded templates.
• Conduct client or industry research as needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to gather data and provide technical guidance.
• Participate at pre-bid meetings with bid or capture manager to build knowledge and external relationships.
• Apply technical knowledge and work with senior team members on managing complex pursuits and process improvements.
• Assist Team Lead in managing workload and performing quality checks before submission to stakeholders.
