Job summary

onsemi is seeking an experienced payroll professional in the Philippines to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate salary calculations and timely statutory contributions. You will maintain confidential employee records and generate payroll reports for audits.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll, deep knowledge of Philippine tax and labor laws, and proficiency in BIR reporting and statutory obligations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related courses.
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll or related field including BIR reports related to withholding tax on compensation
• Strong understanding of payroll calculations, employee deductions, taxes, payroll adjustments and reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll and ensure accurate salary calculations.
• Ensure timely processing of government-mandated contributions and payroll-related requirements.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll information.
• Prepare and process statutory contributions: SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG Fund
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Compute and file withholding taxes with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
• Generate payroll reports and assist in audits
• Maintain and update employee payroll records.
• Address and resolve payroll-related concerns, employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
