Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Payroll professional in Metro Manila to manage complex payroll activities for regional operations, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls. You will guide a team, implement process improvements, and deliver accurate payroll information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reporting, documentation, and coordinating with the Team Lead on escalated issues while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and awards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Solid experience in processing ANZ region payroll and end-to-end payroll processing.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Advanced knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
• Experience with high-volume payroll processing.
• Experience working with Oracle or Workday HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex payroll activities in compliance with procedures and methodologies.
• Lead and support in ensuring up-to-date payroll processes with legislative and regional changes.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on resolutions, projects, and process exceptions.
• Develop and prepare multiple reports, analyses, and presentations for requirements.
• Address issues with guidance of Team Lead and propose preventive improvements.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to streamline payroll and customer experience.
• Create and update SOP/DTP for current and new processes.
• Monitor and respond to Employee Centre support requests related to Payroll Services.
• Lead project activities and support continuous improvement efforts.
