Job summary

AECOM Global Business Services - Philippines ROHQ is seeking a payroll professional responsible for day-to-day ANZ region payroll processing in a hybrid Manila office. You will guide junior teammates and ensure compliance with local regulations, SOX controls, and internal policies.

Responsibilities include complex payroll activities, tax obligations, reporting, and process improvements; strong English communication and experience with Oracle/Workday preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Solid experience in processing ANZ region payroll, exposure to end-to-end payroll processing.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Advanced working knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
• Experience in high-volume payroll processing and using payroll systems (Oracle/Workday).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex payroll activities in compliance with established procedures and regulations.
• Handle taxation, legislative obligations, and return preparations.
• Lead and support updates to processes for legislative and regional changes.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on issue resolution and project work.
• Develop reports and presentations for periodic and ad hoc requirements.
• Support audit programs and ensure SOX and internal controls compliance.
• Collaborate with Team Lead on process improvements and stakeholder communications.
