Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree; Master's degree in human resources, I/O psychology.
  • 6+ years of relevant HR or management consulting experience in Organization Development, Talent Strategies or Performance & Rewards.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, including market benchmarking and pay structure analysis.
  • Experience in compensation analysis or rewards strategy is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic compensation initiatives via market benchmarking, equity analysis, and payroll data.
  • Drive talent development, retention, and succession planning aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with leaders and HRBPs to run regional talent reviews, performance cycles, and leadership development frameworks.
  • Provide data-driven insights by analyzing talent metrics and health data for senior leadership.
  • Plan and implement organizational development initiatives, including benchmarking, job evaluation, and compensation reviews.
  • Support mobility, ensuring smooth collaboration for internal transfers and overseas assignments.

Job Description
  • Lead strategic compensation initiatives by conducting market benchmarking, analyzing internal pay equity and payroll data, and providing recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead compensation initiatives that support the identification, development, and retention of high-potential talents, ensuring competitive and equitable rewards aligned with performance and succession planning.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to drive regional talent reviews, performance management cycles, and leadership development frameworks.
  • Analyze talent metrics and talent health data to provide actionable data-driven insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of key Organizational Development initiatives with other people team functions. Including competitive benchmarking, job evaluation and compensation review.
  • Support employee mobility, ensuring seamless collaboration between business units and HR teams for internal transfers and overseas assignments.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree; Master's degree in human resources, I/O psychology
  • At least 6 years of relevant HR or management consulting experience, with a specialization in one of the domain practices - Organization Development, Key Talent Strategies, Performance & Rewards
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, including market benchmarking, pay structure analysis, internal pay equity, and strategic payroll planning.
  • Experience in compensation analysis or rewards strategy is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills: Quickly evaluates situations, combines strong business judgement and people intuition to reach well-founded decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication (verbal and written) skills, ability to foster relationships, and work collaboratively across different seniority levels within Shopee
  • Comfortable to work with ambiguity and empowerment
  • Detail-oriented with strong mindset for continuous improvement
