Job summary

DHL Supply Chain, a unit of Deutsche Post DHL Group, is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Leader for the San Rafael, Davao Regional Distribution Center. The role oversees end-to-end warehouse activities, drives performance, and leads supervisors to achieve key KPIs and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, policy compliance, data analysis, and strong stakeholder collaboration to ensure on-time dispatch and cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (see list).
• 5–8 years in warehouse/logistics or supply chain operations.
• 3+ years in a supervisory/leadership role within distribution/warehouse.
• Experience with large-scale warehouse operations and client accounts preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proficient with WMS and inventory controls.
• Knowledge of supply chain, distribution, transport, and warehouse best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet KPIs: productivity, service level, inventory accuracy, on-time dispatch.
• Drive process improvements for cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, customer requirements, and regulations.
• Develop supervisors and warehouse personnel through coaching.
• Enforce HSSEQ standards across operations.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for decision-making and reviews.
• Support site budgeting, cost-control, and productivity programs.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Foster engagement and a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, put‑away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management.
• Ensure achievement of operational KPIs such as productivity, service level, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on‑time dispatch.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet daily operational requirements.
• Monitor adherence to DHL Supply Chain policies, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead and develop supervisors and warehouse personnel through coaching, performance management, and talent development programs.
• Ensure strict implementation of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) standards.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to address operational issues, implement solutions, and maintain strong business relationships.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports to support decision‑making and performance reviews.
• Support site budget management, cost control initiatives, and productivity improvement programs.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics operation.
• Experience handling large‑scale warehouse operations and customer‑facing accounts is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Knowledge of supply chain, distribution, transportation, and warehouse best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned and work on‑site in San Rafael Davao Regional Distribution Center.
• Flexible to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when business operations require.
