Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure for a diverse client base. The role emphasizes virtualization, server administration, and infrastructure deployment to ensure reliable business operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, and Dell/HPE servers, plus strong troubleshooting, documentation, and independent project delivery in a remote/ night-shift capable

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Systems/Infrastructure Engineering or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization, server administration, and infrastructure deployment.
• MSP experience is preferred but not required; industry certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across client environments.
• Implement, configure, and support VMware and Hyper-V virtualized environments.
• Install, configure, and administer Windows Server environments.
• Deploy and maintain Dell and HPE server infrastructure.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Support storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex server, virtualization, OS, and infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain networking services including switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, guides, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
