Job summary

SCALABLE OS CORP. is seeking a Senior Voice Support Desk Systems Engineer to remotely service on-premises and cloud voice systems, including PBXs and voicemail, with a focus on client satisfaction.

You will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot networks, and plan upgrades while maintaining accurate client documentation. Long-term work-from-home arrangement and permanent night shift schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in voice/support engineering or equivalent.
• Experience deploying and supporting collaboration platforms and applications.
• Experience with Routing/Switching, DHCP, SNMP.
• Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Visio.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently through complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Remotely service on-premises and Cloud Voice systems including PBXs and voicemail, client-facing.
• Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and fix malfunctions.
• Review client environments and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Engage with vendor TACs for escalation as needed.
• Assist in crafting upgrade plans for client environments.
• Plan and manage service-related work independently.
• Engineer design, installation, support and maintenance of communication systems.
