Job summary

SCALABLE OS CORP. is seeking a Senior Data Center Network and Security Engineer to join our MSP team supporting enterprise and multi-client environments.

You will be a senior escalation point, lead deployments, optimize networks, and collaborate across vendors and internal teams to ensure highly available and secure solutions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on network engineering in data center and MSP settings, with strong Cisco ASA/FTD, Nexus, BGP, and MPLS experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on network engineering in data center/MSP environments.
• Strong experience supporting multi-client enterprise environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and client-facing skills.
• Experience with Cisco ASA, FTD, and Nexus switching.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise and data center networks across client environments.
• Provide Tier 3/4 support and perform root-cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, and data center tech.
• Administer Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, VPNs, NATs, ACLs, and security policies.
• Manage BGP routing in enterprise/service provider contexts.
• Deploy and maintain Nexus switches and vPC configurations.
• Oversee MPLS VRF configurations and routing segmentation.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and downtime-minimized projects.
• Monitor health, capacity, and performance via enterprise tools.
• Create topology diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and infra teams on projects.
• Participate in change, incident, and problem management.
• Support multiple client environments within MSP SLAs.
• Occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations.
