Job summary

STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking an experienced L3 Systems Engineer for a fully remote role focused on MSP environments. You will handle escalations, manage client deployments, and design Windows Server and Microsoft cloud environments across multiple clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Windows Server, Azure/Entra ID, and virtualization skills, plus advanced networking know-how and a customer-focused mindset. A collaborative, technically skilled team awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working in an MSP environment.
• Hands-on experience with ConnectWise PSA.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2016+).
• Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration.
• VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing).
• Experience supporting multiple client environments simultaneously.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a highly technical team.

Responsibilities

• Handle Tier 3 escalations and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Manage and prioritize tickets through ConnectWise PSA.
• Lead client onboarding, deployments, and infrastructure projects.
• Design, implement, and support Windows Server and Microsoft cloud environments.
• Administer Azure, Entra ID, M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print Services.
• Deploy and support VMware, Hyper-V, Failover Clusters, and virtual environments.
• Design and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, wireless, routing, and firewall solutions.
• Implement security best practices including MFA, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, and disaster recovery.
• Create technical documentation and mentoring junior engineers; identify automation opportunities.
