Job summary

SCALABLE OS CORP. in Metro Manila seeks a Senior Network Systems Engineer to design, install, and support production networks and data center solutions. You will manage complex architectures and collaborate with clients to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong routing/switching, virtualization expertise, and proficiency with Visio/MS Office. Night shift and remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in network systems engineering or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching, data center concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and Visio for documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong commitment, initiative, confidence and teamwork abilities.
• Good time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the design, installation, support and maintenance of production networks and systems to completion.
• Integrate and consolidate servers and services across client units and technologies.
• Design, maintain network services including switching, routing, firewalls, wireless networks and security.
• Develop and follow best practices; create documentation for systems and processes.
• Analyze utilization, perform capacity planning and recommend improvements.
• Provide on-call support and technical assistance to users/clients.
• Install new or upgraded software on servers and client platforms.
• Design and implement backup and archiving systems with client staff.
• Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications; mentor junior staff.
• Stay current with new technology; collaborate with Sales on pre-sales and SOWs.
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure timely time-entry and signatures.
• Plan and manage projects independently; coordinate with stakeholders.
