Job summary

KONE is seeking a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - NBS Installation to lead and oversee installation projects. You will ensure safe, compliant site execution, coordinate materials, schedules, and subcontractors, and drive successful handovers and testing of equipment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and accountable project management within a global elevator and escalator business.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the delivery of the installation project.
• Accountable for Site Safety.
• Managing environmental aspects of the installation (waste handling, hazardous material, minimization of travel).
• Responsible for the financial result of the project (not for costs due to factory price/exchange rate changes).
• Prepares the installation program and resource planning.
• Plan, organize delivery and storage of materials/tools; place orders to subcontractors.
• Ensure site readiness and use of correct KONE installation methods.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress to management.
• Collaborate with Accounts payable to ensure payments align with terms.
• Accountable for final testing of equipment and handover to maintenance.
• Develop and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships; aim for sales targets during installations.
• Lead and develop site operatives; manage performance and training plans.
