MMC LIFTS INCORPORATED is seeking skilled elevator installers. The role involves installing and aligning rails, machines, doors and control panels, reading technical drawings, and coordinating with engineers and site teams.
You will perform testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure safe operation on project sites. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of installation experience, proficiency with major brands, and the ability to travel.
Install elevators and related components according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
Install and align elevator rails, machines, motors, doors, car assemblies, control panels, wiring, and other components
Conduct testing, adjustment, and troubleshooting to ensure proper elevator operation
Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs when required
Inspect equipment and components for defects, damage, or improper installation
Read and interpret elevator drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other site personnel during installation activities
Ensure all installation work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements
Maintain proper tools, equipment, and materials needed for installation
Complete installation reports, inspection checklists, and other required documentation
Identify and resolve installation issues and report major technical concerns to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the installation process
Assist with final inspection, testing, commissioning, and turnover of completed elevator systems
3-5 years of experience in elevator installation
Experience with Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Otis, KONE, Schindler, or similar brands preferred
Can independently perform elevator installation
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Maintenance and troubleshooting experience is an advantage
Able to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Able to safely perform work in various work environments, including elevated areas
Willing to travel and work on project sites
