Job summary

KONE is seeking an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Field Quality (NBS) Quality Technician to support quality assurance in production or field operations. The role involves preparing inspection plans, conducting sample tests, and performing process audits in Front Line, Supply Line, or Major Projects.

Responsibilities include communicating results to stakeholders, initiating containment actions, and training operatives at various sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in QA across production or field operations.
• Ability to prepare inspection plans and perform process audits.

Job Title - Engineer / Senior Engineer - Field Quality (NBS) Quality Technician is in either Front Line, Supply Line or alternatively in a specific Major Project. Quality Technician supports Quality Specialist to drive quality assurance in production or field operations. She/he identifies and analyses improvement opportunities independently, prepares inspection plans and procedures and performs sample tests. Quality Technician trains field or production operators and performs process audits.

What will you be doing?

• Prepares inspection plans and procedures / instructions, communicates them, and assures their implementation by giving guidance and support to the operators
• Performs sample tests and process audits and assure the measurement system is correctly implemented. Create reports regarding quality measurements and inspections. Keep record of inspection results and ensure correct calibration of measurement equipment
• Communicates inspection and audit results to relevant stakeholders such as Quality Manager / Specialist, Installation / Maintenance / Production Supervisor, Field Trainer, Project Manager.
• Responsible to raise containment actions and identify best practices and improvement opportunities. Performs root cause analysis and proposes corrective actions
• Engages and trains operatives at installation, maintenance, or production sites
