Job summary

VAP is seeking a Senior Migration Case Manager to take day‑to‑day ownership of Australian visa matters from engagement through lodgement and decision, under RMA supervision. You’ll work across employer‑sponsored, partner, and skilled migration matters, coordinating evidence and client communications while maintaining organised case files.

The role emphasizes hands‑on management, ART matter support, and final submission readiness with strong English communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience in Australian immigration case management, preferably across end‑to‑end matter preparation and progression.
• Strong hands‑on experience with employer‑sponsored visa matters, particularly across subclass 482, 186, and 494.
• Experience preparing and reviewing employment contracts, LMEs, salary data, and organisational evidence.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage visa matters from initial engagement through lodgement and outcome under RMA supervision.
• Collect, organise, and verify client documents against application requirements.
• Prepare visa and nomination application drafts for RMA review.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date case files in Migration Manager.
• Prepare matters for RMA review and final submission.
• Track deadlines and next steps for each matter.
• Identify inconsistencies and missing evidence and raise them to the RMA.
• Prepare and progress employer‑sponsored matters, including SBS applications and nominations.
• Review employment contracts and supporting evidence.
• Assist with ART matters, primarily student visa refusal reviews.
• Research relevant legislation and case law to support submissions.
• Merge and assemble documents for ART requirements.
• Ensure ART matters are complete and ready for review and lodgement.
• Communicate with clients on progression, follow‑ups, and updates.
• Escalate questions to the responsible RMA as needed.
• Maintain records across Migration Manager, ImmiAccount, and other systems.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines with accuracy and responsiveness.
