Law Assist Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Migration Agent to manage a diverse portfolio of Australian visa applications. You will provide strategic migration advice and work closely with our legal team to achieve timely client outcomes.

The role requires OMARA registration, solid knowledge of the Migration Act 1958 and Regulations, and hands-on experience drafting and lodging complex visa submissions for partners, employer-sponsored visas, skilled migration, and student visas.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Migration Agent with OMARA.
• 2–4 years post-registration visa caseload experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Migration Act 1958 and Migration Regulations 1994.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to assess migration eligibility and explain visa pathways.
• Prepare, draft, and lodge a wide range of Australian visa applications (Partner, Employer-Sponsored, Skilled, Student).
• Review supporting documentation to ensure compliance with Migration Act and Regulations.
• Draft persuasive submissions and cover letters to support complex visa applications or appeals.
• Maintain up-to-date client files and track application progress in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep informed of changes to Australian immigration laws and policy; maintain OMARA registration.
• Liaise professionally with clients, sponsors, the Department of Home Affairs, ART, and external assessors.
