Okada Manila is seeking an experienced Events and Promotions Manager to lead non-gaming events and promotions, ensuring timely, creative execution for internal and external audiences. You will orchestrate workflow for the events team, supervise project performance, develop an annual calendar, and collaborate across departments to deliver cohesive programs.
The role requires 5–7 years in events/marketing, excellent communication, and strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and design tools such as
Monitor the timely, creative and effective execution of all events and promotions efforts for internal and external audience
Orchestrate an efficient workflow for the non-gaming promotions and events team to ensure all aspects and requirements of the projects are acquired and coordinated
Consistent supervision of the non-gaming promotions and events team members and individual project performances
Develop an annual calendar for promotions and events in accordance to the branding guidelines
Review and approve all departmental request forms, marketing communications, scripts, and other documents in transacting with departments and in communicating with customers
Collaborate with all departments in developing and implementing cohesive and effective events and promotions activities / programs
Monitor effectiveness of promotions and events activities and provide insights and recommendations based on findings
Assist the Entertainment department, business units and strategic alliances with the management of events and promotions efforts of the property
Assist in the planning and execution of the property’s events and promotions efforts through research, vendor relations, visual merchandizing and production traffic reports.
Effective planning, tracking and reporting of the annual departmental budget
Interact with the consumers / team members at the different internal and external events of the property such as concerts, sporting events, live broadcasts, festivals, and fundraisers.
Work with the events and promotions team, business units and vendors to provide clear communication about all facets of projects through tracking and reports on customer inquiries, issue resolution, engagement reports, and venue statistics.
Participate in team and department meetings for presentations and strategizing sessions
Monitor effectiveness of each promotion and events effort and provide insights and recommendations based on findings
Ensure that all work resources are provided to the team members in order to perform their tasks
Accomplish all other management requirements such as reports, requests, proposals etc. as requested for relevant decision making
Learn key promotional marketing strategies and techniques to apply on each promotion and event effort and break down each event / promotion with the team for evaluation upon completion.
Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional collateral on an as needed basis.
Graduate of Bachelor of Science Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations or any other related course
Minimum requirement of 5-7 years of experience working in an events, marketing, advertising
Experienced in project and people management
Must be an excellent communicator and presenter
Must be strong in Power Point, Word, and Excel; Experience in Photoshop, Canva and other marketing tools is a plus
Must have strong strategic and problem solving skills when dealing with event crises
Should possess multitasking skills and manage multiple projects at the same time
Should have high organizational skills and the ability to discern work priorities
High level of administrative skills and able to maneuver office systems with ease
Should be a team player who is able to manage and anticipate the needs of a dynamic team
Flexible to work overtime and willing to render work during weekends or holidays
Should be outgoing and be comfortable working in a gaming, leisure and nightlife environment
Strong presentation and reporting skills
Highly time conscious in meeting deadlines and target delivery dates.
Should be well-connected with suppliers, partners, talent agents, and other industry stakeholders
