Job summary

TP ICAP Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator/Engineer to own Linux estate across physical, virtual, and cloud servers. You will manage Redhat and SUSE MLM environments, drive reliability, and collaborate with teams globally.

The role requires mid shift (2pm PHT) and on-site work in Taguig. The ideal candidate will have strong Bash/Ansible scripting, virtualization experience, AWS server workloads, and ITIL-based incident management.

Qualifications

Expert understanding of Linux operating systems, especially Redhat and SUSE MLM.
Experience supporting Unix/Linux server infrastructure in a financial services environment.
Strong scripting with Bash and/or Ansible.
Knowledge of virtualization and AWS server workloads.
ITIL standards and incident-management practices.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administration of Unix/Linux servers and incident response.
Ensure production systems reliability and performance.
Follow ITIL requirements for requests and tasks.
Collaborate with project teams to transition new servers, functionality and tools into production.
Maintain full system documentation, including disaster recovery plans.
Drive best practices and reference architecture for Linux infrastructure.
Support TP ICAP's file transfer system (JScape) incidents and requests.
