Job summary

WeSupport Incorporated in Metro Manila seeks an experienced LINUX ARCHITECT to design, implement and operate scalable Linux infrastructures across Asia, with an emphasis on RedHat technologies and automation.

You will act as a technical design authority, lead architecture decisions, coordinate with Systems, Network and Security teams, and mentor engineers to deliver high-availability platforms with strong security posture.

Qualifications

• RHCE certification required.
• Extensive Linux deployment and virtualization experience (QEMU/KVM).
• IaC tooling experience (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Python).
• Knowledge of RPM/DPKG packaging and major Linux distributions (RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu).

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for Linux platform initiatives.
• Advise on Linux infrastructure security fixes and platform risks (Kerberos, LDAP, AD).
• Influence Linux platform design decisions with Architect team.
• Work with vendors and define roadmap for virtual platforms.
• Design and implement tools to automate Linux operations and deployments.
• Ensure stability and performance of Linux environments.
• Lead Linux-related escalation and problem records to resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems, Network and Security teams for best-in-class service outcomes.
