Job summary

Baskit in the Philippines seeks an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to lead Modern Trade relationships, drive revenue growth, and manage strategic plans with major retailers like SM Group, Puregold, 7-Eleven, and Mercury Drug.

You will prepare yearly and quarterly budgets, own P&L for key accounts, coach a team of account professionals, and onboard 3–4 new MT accounts monthly, ensuring flawless program execution and strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Modern Trade, key account management, commercial sales, or business development.
• Experience with consumer goods distribution, FMCG, or retail-focused business.
• Experience managing National Modern Trade and Local Modern Trade accounts in the Philippines.
• Proven revenue growth, new account acquisition, commercial negotiations, and P&L ownership.
• Experience leading and developing a team of key account professionals.
• Established relationships with major Philippine retailers including SM Group, Puregold, 7-Eleven and Mercury Drug.

Responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate plans that build shared value for shoppers, customers, and company, and maintain long-term partnerships with key accounts.
• Preparing and managing yearly and quarterly budget/business plans/P&L and strategically building customer collaborative partnerships.
• Execute and monitor marketing program implementation and ensure all elements of agreements are executed to achieve sales targets and awareness.
• Develop excellent working relationships with National Modern Trade and Local Modern Trade accounts and implement the strategy.
• Monitor and ensure administration related to execution of the program is in accordance with provisions.
• Own end-to-end performance of assigned MT accounts (sales, margin, execution quality, relationship).
• Build a great pipeline of new MTI/MT accounts and onboard 3-4 every month.
