Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced internal auditors to help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role involves ownership of close reconciliations and audit schedules, with deep GAAP knowledge and advanced spreadsheet testing.

This is a flexible, remote engagement requiring 5–20 hours per week. Compensation is $80/hour with ASAP start, fully remote, allowing you to schedule around your commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or internal/external audit support with hands-on ownership of close reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Fluent in GAAP, PBC documentation standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing (Excel/Sheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros).
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Support monthly close reconciliations, journal entry packages, and audit-related schedules.
• Develop and test vendor/expense and SOX-related documentation as part of AI training inputs.
