Job summary

Ethos is seeking senior accountants to help train its latest language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role involves hands-on close ownership and refining AI-generated outputs across monthly close, audit support, and related workflows.

This fully remote position offers $80/hour with a flexible commitment of 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired), start ASAP, and you set your own schedule. Strong attention to GAAP standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support with hands-on close ownership.
• Fluency in GAAP, PBC documentation standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Train AI models by evaluating and refining professional documents, spreadsheets, and slides.
• Manage monthly close reconciliations and audit request schedules.
• Prepare PBC documentation and vendor/expense audit trails.
• Produce high-quality, error-free documents and presentations.
