Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced staff accountants to assist in training our AI model by handling core accounting workflows and audit support. The role focuses on monthly close activities, PBC documentation, and data-driven reviews applied to financial documents.

This fully remote, flexible position offers 5–20 hours per week with an ASAP start. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate accounting and strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or internal/external audit support with hands-on ownership of close reconciliations and audit request schedules.
• Deep fluency in GAAP, PBC documentation standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.
