Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Officer to lead HR operations, compliance, and employee relations at our Manila-area facility. The role requires strong expertise in labor standards, DOLE/NLRC compliance, and high-volume recruitment to support a food manufacturing environment.

You will develop policies, oversee payroll coordination, and mentor the HR team while ensuring fair discipline and a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related course.
• Master’s degree or CHRP/CHRM certification is an advantage.
• 8–12 years HR experience with 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end HR operations including employee records, contracts, attendance, timekeeping, and HRIS.
• Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws and government requirements (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, OSH).
• Lead labor inspections, audits, and handle issues, grievances, and legal documentation.
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies, employee handbook, and company rules.
• Manage employee relations issues including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee manpower planning, full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
• Design and manage performance management systems, training, and succession planning.
• Administer compensation structures, salary reviews, incentives, and benefits programs.
• Support OSH compliance and promote a culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics for decision-making.
