ATC Merchandise & Trade Center, Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Generalist – Employee Relations & HR Operations to lead employee relations, investigations, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced FMCG distribution setting.
You will partner with the Corporate HR Manager to manage case documentation, payroll inputs, performance management, and compliance across distributed field teams.
We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist – Employee Relations & HR Operations who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in handling employee relations and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment.
This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who enjoys solving employee concerns, managing HR cases, strengthening processes, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with operational leaders.
You will work closely with the Corporate HR Manager and HR Generalists, providing hands-on support in employee relations, investigations, performance management, compliance, HR controls, and operational HR activities.
Employee Relations & Case Management
Manage moderate, repeated, disputed, or escalated employee relations concerns.
Prepare and review Incident Reports, Notices to Explain, employee explanations, administrative conference documentation, and case recommendations.
Ensure employee relations cases are properly documented, tracked, and resolved within appropriate timelines.
Guide HR Generalists in handling routine employee concerns and case escalation.
Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk cases appropriately.
Employee Investigations
Conduct or assist in investigations involving misconduct, policy violations, attendance, performance, and workplace concerns.
Conduct interviews and gather relevant documents and evidence.
Prepare investigation summaries and appropriate HR recommendations.
Maintain confidentiality and proper case documentation.
Performance & Probation Management
Assist managers in addressing employee performance concerns.
Facilitate and monitor Performance Improvement Plans.
Monitor probationary employee evaluation and regularization milestones.
Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure timely completion of performance documentation and appropriate action.
HR Operations & Process Controls
Ensure HR processes are accurate, complete, timely, and properly documented.
Maintain and monitor employee masterlists, case trackers, probationary trackers, clearance trackers, and other HR monitoring tools.
Conduct periodic reconciliation and quality checks of HR records.
Identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Help standardize HR forms, documentation, and operating procedures.
Payroll Inputs & Timekeeping
Review HR-related payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, LWOP, employee movements, salary changes, and separations.
Coordinate with HR and Finance/FAD regarding payroll cutoffs and discrepancies.
Ensure payroll-related HR inputs are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
HR Compliance & Documentation
Monitor HR compliance requirements and employment-related deadlines.
Maintain HR compliance calendars and supporting documentation.
Support HR audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Ensure employee 201 files and HR records are complete, updated, properly organized, and confidential.
HR Reporting & Analytics
Consolidate HR information for management reporting.
Prepare reports covering employee relations, turnover, recruitment, probation, attendance, employee movements, and compliance.
Monitor case aging and recurring employee concerns.
Provide relevant HR data and insights to the Corporate HR Manager.
HR Coaching & Support
Coach HR Generalists on employee relations, documentation, policy application, and escalation.
Review routine ER documentation and provide quality-control support.
Provide backup support for recruitment, onboarding, records management, benefits, and timekeeping activities when required.
Participate in cross-company HR projects and initiatives.
FMCG / Field Operations HR Support
Provide HR support to field sales, van sales, distribution, warehouse, logistics, and other operational teams.
Address HR concerns involving attendance, productivity, field performance, conduct, route operations, and workplace behavior.
Support HR activities across geographically distributed operational teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
At least 4 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, with strong exposure to employee relations and HR operations.
Experience in FMCG, distribution, sales, logistics, retail, or other fast-paced operational environments is advantageous.
Hands-on experience in employee investigations, disciplinary cases, Notices to Explain, administrative conferences, and performance management.
Knowledge of Philippine employment practices and HR compliance requirements.
Strong documentation, case management, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, maturity, and professional judgment.
Ability to work effectively with managers, employees, and HR team members across different operational areas.
