Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Adviser Associate for a remote, independent contractor engagement focused on strategy development in Australian financial planning. You will review client data, test strategies, and validate modelling with the adviser before progressing.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking over document production, requiring strong English communication and detailed reviews within AU practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Australian financial planning environment as Senior Advisor Associate or similar.
• Strong understanding of the Australian financial advice process.
• Strong knowledge of Australian financial planning: Superannuation, Retirement planning, Investments, Centrelink, Insurance.
• Strong Xplan experience with cash flow modelling and financial strategy analysis.
• Ability to discuss and develop financial strategies with an adviser.
• Strong understanding of how strategy recommendations flow through the advice process.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident in explaining technical financial concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to critically review strategy and modelling work.

Responsibilities

• Review client information and existing advice to identify relevant strategies.
• Work with the adviser to develop and discuss financial strategies for clients.
• Use Xplan cash flow modelling to assess and test strategy options.
• Review financial modelling to ensure alignment with proposed strategy.
• Provide clear strategic input to support the advice process.
• Review recommendations for gaps or issues requiring consideration.
• Document reasoning and recommendations for adviser review.
• Maintain client information and strategy notes in Xplan.
• Communicate confidently with the adviser and wider team.
• Contribute to improving the advice process with technology/AI tools.
