Hunt St is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to support Australian client services. You will handle end-to-end accounting, tax compliance, BAS, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role is remote, contracted directly to the client, requiring 5+ years in Australian public practice and strong English communication. You’ll leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Australian public practice accounting.
Experience as Senior Accountant in Australian accounting or business advisory practices.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting and compliance requirements across Australian clients.
Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and other reports.
Prepare and manage Australian tax compliance including BAS and Division 7A matters.
Perform reconciliations, journals, month-end processes, and GL reviews.
Identify repetitive tasks and automate workflows using Xero, Excel, and AI tools.
