Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant/Finance professional for a Philippines-based, remote independent contractor role serving AU business hours. The position covers AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and project accounting with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely financial insights.

You will work closely with the client to deliver financial reporting, manage cash flow, and support management with practical analysis across multiple projects and currencies.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance degree required.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with AP/AR processes and Australian payroll.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and month-end close.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day AP/Payments, including processing supplier invoices and reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, invoicing, receipts, and collections.
• Handle Australian payroll processing, STP and superannuation requirements.
• Oversee project accounting, including revenue tracking, costs, margins, and forecasting.
• Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close.
• Maintain internal controls, process improvements, and documentation.
