Job summary

Rhenus Logistics in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Customer & Operations Management professional to act as the primary contact for customers on air and sea shipments and to coordinate end-to-end operations from booking through final delivery. The role focuses on proactive communication, issue resolution, and adherence to procedures and documentation requirements.

You will explain regulatory timelines, coordinate with airlines and partners, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Minimum of three years in a Customer Solutions or Customer Service role handling air/ocean freight shipments.
• Strong knowledge of air/ocean freight services, regulations, and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers on assigned air and sea shipments and escalate operational issues.
• Explain procedures, timelines, and documentation needs to shippers and consignees.
• Provide timely, practical solutions during disruptions and escalations.
• Ensure end-to-end operational execution from booking to final delivery.
• Maintain proactive communication on shipment status, delays, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with airlines, carriers, brokers, warehouses, and trucking providers to ensure on-time cargo movement.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure accurate updates in the operational system.
• Prepare and archive air/ocean freight documentation and maintain audit-ready files.
