Pear Tree. is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst & Team Lead to own end-to-end loan processing, lead credit assessments, and supervise our offshore VA. The role requires deep credit expertise and strong leadership to drive high-quality outcomes across multiple lenders and portals.

The candidate will liaise with brokers and lenders, manage documentation accuracy, and mentor the VA to improve independent output while maintaining compliance with licensing standards and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Australian mortgage broking credit assessment or loan processing.
• Minimum 1 year people management experience with mentoring mindset.
• Strong depth in credit, including non-standard income verification and LVR policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Credit Assessment & Loan Packaging: perform detailed preliminary credit assessments and verify documents.
• Loan Lodgment & QA: review AOL data with zero-error standards across bank portals.
• CRM & Workflow Management: maintain deal tracking and flag risks to broker.
• Team Leadership & VA Management: supervise offshore VA and develop proactive problem-solving.
