Job summary

Utopia Design is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our remote team, focusing on boutique hospitality projects. The role covers detailed cost estimates, budgets, and procurement support across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and clients to ensure accuracy, timely reporting, and compliant documentation, delivering thorough cost analyses and robust schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in estimation, quantity surveying, civil engineering, architecture or related field.
• 6+ years as an estimator in construction projects.
• Experience with budgets over $20M USD.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Revit, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Develop bills of quantities for construction activities.
• Review and challenge proposals from contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and variations to stakeholders.
