Job summary

Outsource Access, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator for a remote role. You will translate technical specs into accurate bids, manage estimating and pre-construction, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver competitive proposals.

You will oversee tender analysis, market trend evaluation, and strategic bid approaches, while guiding internal teams to ensure precise estimates and strong client presentations.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in construction estimating with a track record on complex bids.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel for cost tracking, data analysis, and bid prep.
• Deep understanding of pre-construction, tender analysis, and subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret drawings and costs.
• Knowledge of industry standards, contracts, and market conditions.
• Strong client presentation and negotiation skills with multiple projects managed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee estimating and pre-construction from bid review to subcontract finalization.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of tender drawings and identify design and cost drivers.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subs.
• Coordinate and present complex bids to management and clients with clear scope and cost.
• Ensure accurate transfer of bid data to Project Management after bid win.
• Maintain Master Tender List and cultivate relationships with subcontractors.
• Track market trends, material costs, and bid status for informed strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams, architects and engineers to ensure competitive bids.
