Real Hires LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator who can read plans, build takeoffs, and craft clear, competitive bids. You will price projects, meet bid deadlines, and help win more work.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, comfort with numbers, and experience in construction estimating. This is a fully remote position with collaboration across vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating and quantity takeoffs.
• Strong ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• Experience preparing bids, estimates, and project pricing.
• Experience reviewing and comparing vendor quotes.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and lighting systems.
• Experience with STACK, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Good understanding of construction materials, labor, and costs.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and competitive bids.
• Send RFPs to vendors and collect and compare quotes.
• Prepare RFIs when project details are missing or unclear.
• Estimate electrical and lighting work.
• Review plans for scope changes, missing details, and possible cost issues.
• Keep estimates, pricing, and project files organized and updated.
• Use STACK, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Work with vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet bid deadlines.
• Manage multiple estimates while keeping your work accurate and on schedule.
