Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Senior Late Collections Analyst to drive data-driven strategies for collections and optimize processes. You will collaborate with the analytics manager to deliver key results, extract data from databases, and develop automation tools to improve workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle), Python/R, and BI platforms, plus strong analytical and communication skills to generate actionable insights for leadership and operations.

About the job

The Senior Late Collections Analyst is responsible for highly specialized and technical work on Late Collections which covers, but is not limited to early collection strategies, collection trends, database and collection systems. Recommends process or strategy improvements via a data driven approach; Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet and work directly with late collections analytics manager to help deliver key collections results
• Manage, extract and analyze information from databases
• Extract and analyze information from databases
• Create tools and strategy changes that will automate/optimize/improve existing collection processes
• Generate strategy changes and implement champion-challenger statistical testing from pilot design to implementation
• Manage and optimize database environment, architecture, data governance, jobs and procedures
• Actively monitor collections performance, investigate and explain source and impact of any occurences
• Provide reports and business analysis and insights

What You Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or any related course
• 3 years+ of professional experience in the field of database systems and analytics
• Proven business acumen for late collections, field or call center management

Technical Skills:

• Practical knowledge of hypothesis testing and usage of typical statistical tests (e.g t-test, ANOVA, etc).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office tools.
• Ability to write in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Skilled with R or Python programming.
• Advanced active knowledge and experience with SQL (Oracle).
• Knowledge in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
