Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end category initiatives from strategy to launch.
• Proven P&L accountability with growth and profitability results.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with R&D, manufacturing, sales, trade marketing, and brand.
• Data-driven decision making translating insights into actions.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine a 3–5 year category strategy anchored on consumer truth, competitive advantage, and financial ambition.
• Build and govern the category portfolio architecture (price ladder, tier roles, hero SKUs, entry anchors, innovation spaces).
• Own category P&L delivery including revenue, market share, gross margin, mix optimization, and inventory health.
• Establish performance dashboards across sell‑in, sell‑out, pricing index, ASP, and contribution margin.
• Translate consumer and trade insights into prioritized innovation platforms and lead end‑to‑end business case development for new product introductions.
• Lead category alignment forums with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Brand.
• Define pricing architecture and competitive index targets across segments.
• Set portfolio governance standards and establish post‑launch evaluation discipline.
• Develop high‑performing team members through coaching, stretch assignments, and clear performance standards.
• Diagnose underperformance early and lead corrective action across pricing, promotions, cost, or portfolio mix.
