Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software/technology.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Hands-on experience across the SDLC.
• Experience collaborating with developers, QA, architects, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Strong background in UAT and requirements validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and traditional delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, and challenges.

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for new systems, enhancements, and projects.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams.

• Evaluate requirements to ensure they are complete, feasible, and aligned with business objectives.

• Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on projects.

Process Improvement

• Review current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Recommend solutions that simplify work, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency.

• Design future-state workflows and process improvements.

• Ensure solutions provide measurable business benefits.

Solution Design & Project Delivery

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and project teams to design effective solutions.

• Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment.

• Help prioritize project requirements based on business value and impact.

• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and requirements.

User Acceptance Training (UAT)

• Create test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

• Coordinate testing activities with business users.

• Validate that solutions work as intended before deployment.

• Track and help resolve issues identified during testing.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the key point of contact between business and technical teams.

• Facilitate discussions and ensure alignment among stakeholders.

• Communicate technical concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.

• Manage expectations, risks, and project priorities.

Continuous Improvement & User Experience

• Gather user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements.

• Recommend improvements to existing applications and processes.

• Help ensure systems are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

• Contribute ideas for future product and application enhancements.

Documentation & Governance

• Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including:

  • Business Requirements Documents (BRD)

  • Functional Specifications

  • User Stories and Acceptance Criteria

  • Process Flows and Use Cases

  • Test Scenarios and UAT Documents

  • User Guides and Operating Procedures

Implementation & Production Support

• Support system launches and implementation activities.

• Assist with user training and change management efforts.

• Help investigate and resolve production issues.

• Participate in post-implementation reviews to ensure project success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or Project Management are a plus but not required.

Experience

• At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development, digital transformation, or technology-driven organizations.

• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

• Hands-on experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience collaborating with developers, QA testers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders.

• Strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and requirements validation.

• Familiarity with both Agile/Scrum and traditional project delivery methodologies.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, applications, or stakeholder groups at the same time.
