The Business Oasis is a Tasmania-based bookkeeping and advisory service seeking an AU Senior Bookkeeper for a permanent remote role. You will manage core bookkeeping tasks, payroll, and compliance for Australian clients while collaborating with a small team.

• Formal accounting and bookkeeping qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in Australian Public Practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and bank reconciliation.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Payroll processing including PAYG and superannuation.
• Handle SGC obligations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS.
• Prepare financial reports.
• Year-end activities including STP finalisation.
• Prepare TPAR reports.
