The Business Oasis is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our remote team. You will handle production bookkeeping, payroll, and reconciliations, and refine company procedures while working exclusively for our firm.

We value a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to train and mentor others. Australian public practice experience is preferred, with formal qualifications desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Australian Bookkeeping experience in an Australian Public Practice Firm.
• Great work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Candidates must have minimum 3 years of Australian Bookkeeping experience.
• Formal accounting/bookkeeping qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and bank reconciliation
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Payroll processing including PAYGW and superannuation
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Preparation and lodgement of IAS/BAS statements
• Preparation of financial reports
• End of year activities including STP finalisation
• Preparation of TPAR reports
