General Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision‑making.
Financial Compliance and Audit
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Financial Operations Support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in ad‑hoc projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the finance department and the company.
Bookkeeping
  • Recording of company transactions.
  • Oversee weekly transaction cycles.
Month End Close
  • Help in performing month end closing procedures in accordance with the month end close checklist.
  • Maintain monthly schedules, disposition discrepancies and/or balances and record necessary adjusting entries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the financial services or technology industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite, or similar software like SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting operations.
  • Enthusiastic for the accounting practices of the fintech industry, especially those involved in blockchain, crypto, digital assets.
  • All accounting/finance certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, CTT, etc.) welcome as a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic startup environment.
