Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in production IT service troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Scripting skills in bash/ksh, PowerShell, Python to automate tasks.
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
• Experience in on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools: Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace.
• Understanding ITIL processes and practices.
• Experience with incident, change, and ticketing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end application support across platforms to enable uninterrupted business operations.
• Maintain system stability, availability, and performance daily.
• Monitor health, performance, and capacity; address risks proactively.
• Triage issues and communicate with business and tech stakeholders clearly.
• Analyze trends to support incident, problem, and change management.
• Create and maintain runbooks, procedures, and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure and configuration as code for apps.
• Identify operational improvements and automation to reduce toil.
• Apply SLIs and SLAs to resolve issues before impact.
• Support site reliability engineering practices.
