Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an IT Senior Application Engineer to manage and improve the reliability of critical systems across environments.

You will drive automation, build scalable infrastructure, and work with development and operations teams to deliver resilient solutions. The role requires 5–10 years in DevOps/SRE or related fields, strong Linux and scripting skills, and hands-on experience with monitoring and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in DevOps, SRE, application support, or related roles.
• Advanced Linux skills including kernel, filesystems, and process management.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Takes overall ownership of all environments the system resides in.
• Drive reliability and performance to align with business-critical processes.
• Monitor system performance using Splunk, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, and similar tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and network issues; automate recurring fixes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain runbooks and knowledge base.
• Design/execute performance tests; analyze results and optimize bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Develop disaster recovery plans; ensure data integrity and resilience.
• Collaborate with teams to implement solutions and share knowledge.
• Stay updated on DevOps/SRE best practices.
