Job summary

Pearl is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to scale our accounting function across the business. You’ll tackle complex accounting questions, apply US GAAP with sound business judgment, influence stakeholders, and translate requirements into practical processes.

You’ll partner with Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations, own technical journal entries, support consolidation and SOX controls, and drive scalable revenue recognition and close processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-qualification accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• 4+ years in external audits or SOX controls, Big 4 experience preferred.
• Experience applying ASC 606 revenue recognition across complex models.
• Proven ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to non-finance audiences.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with an eye for automation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and business leaders to assess complex transactions and apply ASC 606.
• Draft technical accounting position papers, white papers, and policy memos.
• Coordinate accounting for parent, subsidiaries, and intercompany activities.
• Strengthen SOX-related controls across revenue, close, and reporting cycles.
• Own technical journal entries, reconciliations, and month/quarter-end closes.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop scalable accounting processes for new revenue streams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Operations, Tax and Finance to communicate conclusions.
