Job summary

Overseas is seeking a Senior Accountant (AI-Native) to own the full accounting function for a fast-scaling premium food brand. You will bring day-to-day accounting in house from an outside firm, run monthly close, own the G/L and financial statements, and build AI-driven dashboards.

You will use Claude daily, build live dashboards from scratch, and manage a cloud finance stack with discipline. 5+ years exp, US GAAP, and CPG background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• CPG inventory reconciliation across multiple locations.
• US GAAP experience with audits and lenders in mind.
• Strong Claude AI proficiency and live dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with proactive calendar.
• Manage AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and fixed assets.
• Reconcile CPG inventory across locations and channels.
• Build live dashboards and automate cloud finance workflows.
• Own tax compliance and external auditor support.
