Job summary

Strata Staff is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial operations for strata properties in the Philippines. The role emphasizes accurate accounting, tax compliance, and timely financial reporting to property managers and stakeholders.

You will manage building setups, GST-BAS lodgments, external audits, and provide mentorship to junior finance staff while driving process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA considered an advantage.
• Minimum 4–5+ years of accounting experience, lead role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST/BAS and tax filing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) for strata portfolios.
• Lead building setups and ensure full tax compliance across portfolios.
• Coordinate external audits and address findings timely.
• Mentor junior/mid-level staff and improve accounting processes.
• Oversee AP, payments, bank reconciliations, budgeting and year-end allocations.
