Job summary

Jatro BPO in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage the financial health of clients’ strata accounts. The ideal candidate has a background in property or strata accounting and a passion for accuracy and compliance.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, manage trust accounts, draft budgets and financial statements, assist with audits, and coordinate with property managers on financial queries to ensure records are

Qualifications

• Experience with Australian taxation, payroll, BAS is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of strata or property accounting experience.
• Familiarity with trust accounting and strata legislation is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software: StrataMax, Strata Master, MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports for strata corporations
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations
• Manage trust accounts in compliance with strata regulations
• Draft and review annual budgets and financial statements
• Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors
• Coordinate with property managers and clients regarding financial queries
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and general financial records
• Process levy notices, monitor payments, and follow up on arrears
