Job summary

ISTA Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its rapidly expanding team in Metro Manila. You will manage accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close while collaborating with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and excellent English. Night shifts and onsite work at Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years work experience in Accounting (AP/AR/Bookkeeping).
• Team Lead / Supervisory experience is a PLUS
• Proficiency in using MS Excel (Formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong
• Amenable working night shift

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions including invoices, payments, and expense documentation.
• Perform transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with cash management activities and monitoring of cash transactions.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and AP-related concerns.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Oversees daily operations for all agents delivering high-quality and valued services
• Conduct training and coaching, including insights and action plans to improve
• Analyze and report on productivity and other metrics - such as attendance, end-of-day reports, and compliance with company protocols
• Ensure that the client is updated on significant program activities, issues, and concerns through calls, emails, meetings, reports
• Perform other supervisory tasks as required
