Job summary

ISTA Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Mandaluyong. The role focuses on processing AP, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close, with a requirement to work onsite and during night shifts.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate, compliant financial records. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in Accounting (AP/AR/Bookkeeping).
• Proficient in MS Excel (formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense documentation.
• Perform transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with cash management activities and monitoring of cash transactions.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and AP-related concerns.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
