Job summary

ISTA Solutions is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to oversee accounts payable, transactional accounting, and monthly closing activities. You will review invoices, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records, coordinating with internal teams and clients.

The role also includes supervising daily operations of agents, coaching, tracking productivity, and ensuring compliance with company protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years in Accounting (AP/AR/Bookkeeping).
• At least 1 year of supervisory / team lead experience.
• Proficient in Excel and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

Account Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense documentation.

• Perform transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.

• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Assist with cash management activities and monitoring of cash transactions.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and transactions.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting procedures.

• Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and AP-related concerns.

• Assist with other accounting-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

• Oversees daily operations for all agents delivering high-quality and valued services

• Conduct training and coaching, including insights and action plans to improve

• Analyze and report on productivity and other metrics - such as attendance, end-of-day reports, and compliance with company protocols

• Ensure that the client is updated on significant program activities, issues, and concerns through calls, emails, meetings, reports

• Perform other supervisory tasks as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 years work experience in Accounting (AP/AR/Bookkeeping).

• With at least 1 year supervisory / team lead experience

• Proficiency in using MS Excel (Formulas)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong

• Amenable working night shift
