Job summary

RiceTec, Inc. is seeking a seasoned seed production professional to lead foundation seed production across farms and fields. You will coordinate breeding operations, develop SOPs for breeder and core seed multiplication, and manage seed inventories using SAP and MS Excel.

The role involves liaison between R&D and the Parent Seed department, reporting via MS Office and SAP, and coordinating seed certification and procurement with public institutions and universities.

Qualifications

• Masters or better in Genetics or related field.
• Experience with foundation seed production, breeder seed and inventory management in SAP and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee foundation seed production at farms and fields.
• Maintain breeding activities; liaise between R&D and Parent Seed dept.
• Manage breeder, core and foundation seed multiplication; develop SOPs.
• Manage foundation seed production farms.
• Handle inventory of breeder, core and foundation seeds in SAP and MS Excel.
• Prepare reports using MS Office and SAP.
• Coordinate seed certification of OPV parents and procurement from public institutions/universities.
